§2258.1. Disability benefits; appeal

A.A member may appeal a decision made pursuant to R.S. 11:218(D)(2) or (3), regarding eligibility for disability benefits, by filing a petition in the appropriate district court within thirty days after receipt of written notice of the decision.
B.An appeal of a decision regarding eligibility for disability benefits pursuant to R.S. 11:2258(A)(2) may be instituted by the member or his beneficiary by filing a petition in the appropriate district court within thirty days after receipt of written notice of the decision.
