A.

(1)Notwithstanding any other provisions of law to the contrary, the members of the boards of trustees of the Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System, the Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana, the Louisiana School Employees' Retirement System, the Municipal Police Employees' Retirement System, the Louisiana State Police Retirement System, the Parochial Employees' Retirement System of Louisiana, the Municipal Employees' Retirement System of Louisiana, the Firefighters' Retirement System, the Assessors' Retirement Fund, the Clerks' of Court Retirement and Relief Fund, the Registrars of Voters Employees' Retirement System, the Sheriffs' Pension and Relief Fund, and the District Attorneys' Retirement System shall receive for attendance at meetings of the boards a per diem of seventy
