§152.1. Compliance with certain federal laws
Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the board of trustees of
each Louisiana public retirement system, as defined in R.S. 29:403, shall comply with the
requirements of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act
(USERRA, 38 U.S.C. 4301 et seq.). Each board of trustees shall promulgate rules to comply
with the provisions of USERRA and any rules or regulations issued by the United States
Department of Labor or any other federal agency relating to USERRA. The rules so
promulgated shall be considered plan provisions of the retirement system.
