§1302. Creation and composition of board; powers; expenses of administration A. The Louisiana State Police Retirement System Board is created and is composed of the following members:

(1)The state treasurer or his designee.
(2)The commissioner of administration or his designee.
(3)The superintendent of the office of state police or his designee.
(4)The president of the Louisiana State Troopers' Association.
(5)The president of the Central State Troopers' Coalition.
(6)A member of the House Committee on Retirement appointed by the speaker of the House of Representatives or the member's designee.
(7)The chairman of the Senate Committee on Retirement or his designee.
(8)One member of the system, who has credit for at least five years of service at the time of taking office, to be elec
