§ 11:1201 — Collection of member contributions; procedure; checklists; liability for erroneous information

A.The employer shall cause to be deducted on each payroll of a member for each and every payroll period the contributions payable by such member, as provided in this Chapter. The employer shall make deductions from salaries of employees as provided in this Chapter, and shall transmit monthly, or at such time as the board of trustees shall designate, the amount specified to be deducted to the secretary-treasurer of the board of trustees.
B.Each employer shall transmit, monthly, by the fifteenth day after the end of each month, a checklist report setting forth necessary salary and deduction information as shall be required by the board of trustees. If any reporting agency submits a checklist which is in error as to the salary of any member and such error results in overpayment of benefits
