A.Should a member cease to be an employee except by death or retirement under the provisions of this Chapter, he shall be paid, subject to the provisions of Subsection B hereof, such part of the amount of the accumulated contributions standing to the credit of his account in the annuity savings funds as he shall demand. No application for payment or refund of contributions by any person who has withdrawn from active service shall be certified by the employer until ninety days after resignation or termination, and no payment shall be made until ninety days after the effective date of termination or resignation.
