§ 83-321 — Jurisdiction of secretary of agriculture over scales and measuring devices; transfer of powers, duties and functions

(a)All of the powers, duties and functions of the director of the Kansas state grain inspection department with regard to the Kansas grain inspection laws pertaining to the actual inspection of the scales and other weighing and measuring devices specified in chapter 34 of Kansas Statutes Annotated, and amendments thereto, are hereby transferred to and conferred and imposed upon the secretary of agriculture.
(b)The secretary of agriculture shall be the successor in every way to the powers, duties and functions of the director of the Kansas state grain inspection department with regard to the Kansas grain inspection laws pertaining to the actual inspection of the scales and other weighing and measuring devices specified in chapter 34 of Kansas Statutes Annotated, and amendments thereto, an
