§ 80-919 — Same; election; site; erection; tax levy, limitation

Kansas·Ch. 80 TOWNSHIPS AND TOWNSHIP OFFICERS·Art. 9 PUBLIC PARKS AND CEMETERIES
Upon the receipt of such petition the township board shall call an election at which the question of the acquiring of a site for and the building of a chapel as provided hereinbefore shall be submitted to the electors of the township, at which election the proposition submitted shall be "Shall the township build and maintain a chapel in connection with the township cemetery at an initial cost of __________ dollars?" If the majority of the votes cast at said election shall favor such proposition to construct and operate a chapel the township board shall proceed to procure a site for such chapel adjacent to the cemetery not exceeding one acre in area and to build and maintain a suitable building for a chapel thereon.
