§ 80-1601 — Water supply; acquisition in certain townships

Whenever there shall be presented to the township board of any township located, in whole or in part, within fifteen (15) miles of the limits of any city of the first class located in the same county in which such township is located or adjoining a township located in the same county having a publicly owned water supply system, a sufficient number of agreements or subscriptions to purchase water at a specified schedule of rates to be set out in such agreements or subscriptions for a period of not less than three years, duly signed by the owners of property lying within said township, or any adjoining township, or any part thereof, which will permit the liquidation of the cost of constructing said water mains within said township, extending from the water mains of such city or adjoining tow
