Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the board of trustees of Hutchinson community college is authorized to acquire land which is located in Barton county, Kansas, to construct a public radio repeater station on such land, and to do all things necessary in order to provide for interconnection between public radio station KHCC and such repeater station.
