§ 66-1315 — Penalties for violation of certain motor carrier statutes

Kansas·Ch. 66 PUBLIC UTILITIES·Art. 13 MOTOR CARRIERS
(a)Any person violating any of the provisions of K.S.A. 66-1,139 or 66-1,140, and amendments thereto, shall upon conviction be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined:
(1)For a first conviction of one or more violations of any such statutes, not more than $500 for each such conviction; and (2) for a second or subsequent conviction of one or more violations of any such statutes, within two years thereafter, not more than $1,000 for each such conviction.
(b)Any person violating K.S.A. 66-1314, and amendments thereto, shall pay a fine in accordance with K.S.A. 8-2118, and amendments thereto.
