Text
(a)Except as provided in subsection (b), every carrier to which this act applies and every person who violates or who procures, aids or abets in the violating of any provision of this act, or who fails to obey any order, decision or rule and regulation of the commission, or who procures or aids or abets any person in his failure to obey such order, decision or rule and regulation, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not exceeding $500.
(b)(1) Every carrier who violates the provisions of K.S.A. 66-1,111 or 66-1,128, and amendments thereto, or violates rules and regulations adopted pursuant to K.S.A. 66-1,129, and amendments thereto, except for violations specified in paragraph (2), shall pay a fine in accordance with K.S.A. 8-2118, an
