Text
Every person hereafter desiring to enter the practice of embalming dead human bodies within the state of Kansas shall make a written application to the state board of mortuary arts, upon forms prescribed by such board, for a license to practice the science of embalming. If the board finds that the applicant is of good moral character, has complied with the requirements of K.S.A. 65-1701a or 65-1701b, and amendments thereto, is possessed of skill and knowledge in the science of embalming and in the care and disposition of dead human bodies and has reasonable knowledge of sanitation and disinfection in case of death from infectious or contagious diseases, the board shall issue to such applicant a license to practice the science of embalming and shall register the applicant as a duly licensed
