This section shall apply if the garnishment is to attach intangible property other than earnings of the judgment debtor.

(a)The order of garnishment and the appropriate form for the garnishee's answer shall be served on the garnishee in the same manner as process is to be served pursuant to K.S.A. 61-3001 through 61-3006, and amendments thereto, except that the garnishee may be served by any means provided under K.S.A. 61-3001 through 61-3006, and amendments thereto, at the garnishee's business or office location and this shall be considered proper service. A copy of the answer form shall be served if the garnishment order is not served electronically.
