Text

All county or district attorneys and law enforcement officers of this state are hereby charged with the same duties in respect of motor fuels and other liquid fuels so unlawfully transported, and motor trucks and other vehicles and containers so unlawfully used, as are now imposed upon them in respect of intoxicating liquors and automobiles, vehicles and other property used in their transportation in this state. The person primarily responsible and instrumental in procuring the seizure of any such contraband property and instituting proceedings for its confiscation, other than a state officer, and the county or district attorney who prosecutes the proceeding or proceedings resulting in confiscation and sale of any such contraband property, upon the making of an order to sell such property,
