(a)Agents of the commission shall have the right of ingress and egress upon any lands where any well or underground porosity storage of natural gas is located and the lands adjacent thereto and to occupy such lands as are necessary in the permitting, monitoring, inspecting, investigating, supervising, plugging, replugging or repairing of any such well or underground porosity storage. Any agent when entering upon any land to permit, monitor, inspect, investigate, supervise, plug, replug or repair a well or underground porosity storage of natural gas, shall not be liable for any damages necessarily resulting therefrom, except damages to growing crops, livestock or improvements on the land.
