Text
(a)Any person, firm, association or corporation who fails to comply with the requirement to give notice to the state corporation commission of intent to drill a seismic, core or exploratory hole for the purpose of exploration, discovery or production of oil or natural gas in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 55-151, and amendments thereto, and who has been convicted twice of violating such requirement, shall be prohibited from drilling a seismic, core or exploratory hole in this state for the purpose of exploration, discovery or production of oil or natural gas within the six-month period of time following the date of the second conviction of violating such requirement.
