(a)(1) There is hereby established in the state treasury the carbon dioxide injection well and underground storage fund to administer the provisions of K.S.A. 2024 Supp. 55-1637 through 55-1640, and amendments thereto. Such fund shall be administered by the commission in accordance with the provisions of this section.
(2)The commission shall remit to the state treasurer in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 75-4215, and amendments thereto, all moneys received by the commission for the purposes of K.S.A. 2024 Supp. 55-1637 through 55-1640, and amendments thereto. Upon receipt of the remittance the state treasurer shall deposit the entire amount in the state treasury and credit it to the fund.
