§ 52-717 — Bank transactions on Saturday afternoon or holiday
No provision of any law of this state shall be so construed as to prevent banks from paying checks, drafts, or other bills of exchange upon Saturday afternoon, or upon any legal holiday: Provided, Such payments would be legal if made at other times.
