Text

The animal health commissioner is hereby authorized and directed to cooperate with the secretary of agriculture of the United States or any officer or authority of the general government, in the suppression and extirpation of contagious diseases among domestic animals and in the enforcement and execution of all acts of congress to prevent the importation and exportation of diseased animals and the spread of infectious or contagious diseases among domestic animals.
