Text

All moneys received from the sale of branded stray livestock shall be paid to the state animal health commissioner, notwithstanding article 2 of chapter 47 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, and amendments thereto, or any other provision of law relating to the disposition of the moneys received from the sale of branded stray animals. The commissioner or the commissioner's deputies are hereby authorized and directed to receive and receipt for all moneys received from the sale of branded stray livestock and shall pay the same to the state treasurer. The state treasurer shall credit such amount to the livestock brand fee fund.
