Text
(a)Any licensee or permit holder required to be licensed or obtain a permit under the Kansas pet animal act, who is in the process of ceasing to do business on July 1, may be issued a temporary closing permit at the discretion of the commissioner.
(b)Application for such permit shall be made in writing on a form provided by the commissioner.
(c)The permit will be effective for 30 days. During the 30-day period, the licensee or permit holder shall be required to comply with the Kansas pet animal act and all rules and regulations adopted thereunder. By accepting such permit, the licensee or permit holder agrees to allow an inspection of the facility at the end of the 30-day period to certify that the operation has ceased business.
