(a)There is hereby established the joint committee on information technology which shall be within the legislative branch of state government and which shall be composed of five members of the senate and five members of the house of representatives. Two of the senate members shall be appointed by the president of the senate, two of the senate members shall be appointed by the minority leader of the senate and one of the senate members shall be appointed by the chairperson of the committee on ways and means of the senate.
