§ 46-156 — Terms of members of the legislature; commencement

Kansas·Ch. 46 LEGISLATURE·Art. 1 GENERAL PROVISIONS
The regular terms of state representatives and senators shall commence on the second Monday of January of the year following election. Representatives shall be elected for two year terms. Senators shall be elected for four year terms.
