(a)Whenever a special committee, select committee or a standing committee is authorized to make a legislative study, it shall meet on the call of its chairman as authorized by the legislative coordinating council. At the conclusion of each legislative study, the special committee, select committee or standing committee making the same shall make a report together with its recommendations thereon to the legislature. A copy of each report shall be filed with the legislative coordinating council not later than December 1, unless an extension of time is granted by such council.
