Text

When there is a dispute with respect to parentage, the court may stay child support proceedings, if any are pending in the case, until the dispute is resolved by a separate action under the Kansas parentage act, K.S.A. 23-2201 et seq., and amendments thereto. Nothing in this section shall be construed to limit the power of the court to carry out the purposes of the revised Kansas juvenile justice code.
