(a)(1) In addition to any services required under K.S.A. 38-2201 et seq., and amendments thereto, after the department for children and families receives a report of child abuse or neglect where the subject of the report is a child with sexual behavior problems and the department determines that a joint investigation with law enforcement is required in accordance with K.S.A. 38-2226, and amendments thereto, the department shall immediately provide a referral to a child advocacy center or other mental health provider and, as needed, offer additional services to:
(A)The child with sexual behavior problems; and
(B)such child's family.
