Text

(a)An employee may not be appointed as a commissioned inspector unless such employee:
(1)Is a fire inspector 1, or higher; and (2) has successfully completed the Kansas building fire safety class.
(b)An employee may be appointed as a commissioned inspector for a term not to exceed one year. Upon the expiration of the term, an employee may be reappointed as a commissioned inspector.
