Text
The governing body of any city of the third class having a population of not less than one thousand is hereby authorized and empowered to issue bonds of such city in an amount not exceeding fifteen thousand dollars for the purpose of purchasing, leasing, development and equipping municipal airports and fields for aviation purposes and for all things incidental thereto. Before any of such bonds shall be issued, the question of issuing same shall be submitted to the vote of the people at the next city election or at an election called for that purpose, and no bonds shall be issued until a majority of the qualified electors who shall vote on the question at such an election shall have declared by their votes in favor of issuing said bonds.
