§ 28-615 — County engineer; salary and expenses; assistants and employees; payment of compensation from county road and bridge fund, when

Kansas·Ch. 28 FEES AND SALARIES·Art. 6 COUNTIES OVER 300,000
The county engineer may be appointed by the board of county commissioners to perform the necessary civil engineering work of the county. He shall receive a salary to be fixed by the county commissioners. In addition, the board of county commissioners shall pay the county engineer's actual and necessary traveling expenses incurred in the performance of his official duties upon the filing of itemized and verified vouchers signed by the county engineer and approved by the board of county commissioners. The said board shall allow the county engineer the necessary and required assistants, engineers, surveyors, superintendents, foremen, accountants, clerks and all other help needed for the performance of his duties.
