A nonparent may commence a proceeding by filing a petition under K.S.A. 2024 Supp. 23-3311, and amendments thereto, in the court having jurisdiction to determine visitation under the uniform child custody jurisdiction and enforcement act, K.S.A. 23-37,101 through 23-37,405, and amendments thereto.
