Text
The respondent may answer and may also file a counterclaim for divorce, annulment or separate maintenance. If new matter is set up in the answer, it shall be verified by the respondent in person or by the guardian of an incapacitated person. If a counterclaim is filed, it shall be subject to the provisions of subsections (a), (b) and (c) of K.S.A. 23-2704, and amendments thereto. When there are minor children of the marriage, the answer shall contain, or be accompanied by an affidavit which contains, the information required by K.S.A. 23-37,209, and amendments thereto.
