Text
Complaint; information or indictment; required contents; amendment; bill of particulars; identification of certain witnesses.
(a)Prosecutions in the district court shall be upon complaint, indictment or information.
(b)The complaint, information or indictment shall be a plain and concise written statement of the essential facts constituting the crime charged, which complaint, information or indictment, drawn in the language of the statute, shall be deemed sufficient. The precise time of the commission of an offense need not be stated in the indictment or information; but it is sufficient if shown to have been within the statute of limitations, except where the time is an indispensable ingredient in the offense.
