Text
(a)For all purposes of release on recognizance programs and supervised release programs, each district court may contract for services and facilities; receive property by gifts, devises and bequests; and sell or exchange any property so accepted and use in any manner the proceeds or the property received in exchange.
(b)To the extent feasible, each district court establishing, operating or coordinating release on recognizance programs and supervised release programs shall arrange, by contract or on such alternative basis as may be mutually acceptable, for utilization of existing local facilities and treatment and service resources, including but not limited to employment, job training, general, special or remedial education, psychiatric and marriage counseling, and alcohol and drug abuse
