If the amendments made to K.S.A. 21-6811, 21-6820 and 22-3504 are, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the amendments made to K.S.A. 21-6811, 21-6820 and 22-3504 that can be given effect without the invalid provision or provisions or application, and to this end the amendments made to K.S.A. 21-6811, 21-6820 and 22-3504 are severable.
