§ 2-2473 — Pesticide management areas; factors to examine in area development; pesticide management area technical advisory committee; membership and duties thereof
(a)(1) The pesticide management areas shall be developed by examination of the following factors:
(A)Precipitation;
(B)topography;
(C)soil type;
(D)depth to the watertable; and
(E)other factors as the secretary deems relevant.
(2)The areas shall be designated as permitted, modified or prohibited for the use of certain types of pesticides as determined by the pesticide management plan for the management area. The order of the secretary designating such pesticide management area shall define specifically the boundaries of the pesticide management area and shall indicate specifically the pesticide management plan for the area.
