Text
No discrimination shall be exercised, threatened, or promised, by any person in the civil service against or in favor of any applicant, eligible, or employee in the civil service because of age, sex, race, political or religious opinions or affiliations, except that no person affiliated with a political movement advocating overthrow of government by force or violence shall be eligible to any appointment or employment under this act.
