Text
Any fire district which is created under K.S.A. 19-3613 et seq. having territory located within a city of the first class having a population in excess of fifty thousand (50,000) shall have area attached to it in the manner hereafter provided as alternative methods to others now provided by law.
(a)Upon petition by resolution of the governing body of such city to attach thereto territory which lies within such city but which is not located within any fire district, the board of county commissioners may enter an order making such attachment.
