§ 19-3547a — Inclusion of land located in other benefit districts

Kansas·Ch. 19 COUNTIES AND COUNTY OFFICERS·Art. 35 WATER SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION DISTRICTS

Any land located within an improvement district created pursuant to K.S.A. 19-2753 et seq., and amendments thereto, or any land located within an industrial district created pursuant to K.S.A. 19-3801 et seq., and amendments thereto, shall not be included within the boundaries of any public wholesale water supply district created pursuant to K.S.A. 19-3545 et seq., and amendments thereto, unless the governing body of such improvement district or industrial district approves the inclusion thereof.
Nothing in this section shall be construed as providing a procedure for the detachment or deannexation of land located within the boundaries of a public wholesale water supply district.
