Within thirty (30) days after the first appointment, the members of the board shall meet and organize by the election from its own members of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, and a treasurer. All members and the officers of the board whenever appointed or elected shall take oaths as prescribed for other public officials. The secretary and the treasurer shall each give to the park district a corporate surety bond conditioned for the faithful performance of duty and for the true and faithful accounting for all money that may come into their hands by virtue of their position in such sums as the board shall determine by resolution. The premiums on such bonds shall be paid by the park district. Such bonds shall be approved by the board and filed by the chairman with the county clerk.
