§ 19-2845 — Division of cost; bonds; petition; election; tax levy
The boards of county commissioners of such counties shall agree upon the division of the cost of the establishment and improvement of such joint park and recreational grounds which is to be paid by each county. For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this act, the board of county commissioners may issue and sell the bonds of the county, in an amount not exceeding one-tenth of one percent of the total amount of assessed valuation of such county for the fiscal year next preceding the issuance of such bonds and such bonds may be issued and sold without the necessity of an election unless a petition in opposition to the issuance of such bonds without an election signed by not less than twenty percent (20%) of the qualified electors in any such county shall be filed with the county cl
