§ 19-2837 — Bonds; petitions; election; limitation on bonds

Kansas·Ch. 19 COUNTIES AND COUNTY OFFICERS·Art. 28 PARKS, MUSEUMS, LAKES AND RECREATIONAL GROUNDS
Upon the presentation to the board of county commissioners of the maps, plans and specifications, and information called for in the preceding section, and petitions (a) specifying that bonds may be issued in a definite amount and which amount shall, in no event, be in excess of 20% more than the estimated cost to the county for the items which the county undertakes to be responsible for as disclosed by the plans, specifications, and information on file as required in the preceding section; and (b) which petitions shall be signed by at least 25% of the qualified electors of such county as shown by the vote cast for secretary of state at the last general election in such county; and (c) following the name of each signer on such petition shall be inserted his or her precinct and residence add
