§ 19-2803a — Rules and regulations by county commissioners; publication; penalties
(a)The board of county commissioners of any county or the township board of any township owning and operating a park, lake or other recreational area is hereby empowered to adopt, by resolution, reasonable rules and regulations regulating and licensing the use and enjoyment of any such facilities by the public, and for the protection and preservation of such properties. Except as provided in this section, any person violating such rules and regulations shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $100 or commitment to the county jail for a period not exceeding 30 days or both such fine and imprisonment.
