§ 19-28,101 — Preliminary and working plans, when; survey and preparation of contracts before bids

Kansas·Ch. 19 COUNTIES AND COUNTY OFFICERS·Art. 28 PARKS, MUSEUMS, LAKES AND RECREATIONAL GROUNDS
If and when such board of county commissioners decides to proceed with proposed park improvements, including acquisition of additional land, if any, it shall instruct its qualified and appointed park engineers to submit preliminary plans and recommendations and to then prepare working plans and specifications, survey or cause to be surveyed any additional land, if required, and further prepare contract in bid form for construction of park improvements which will require the approval of such board of county commissioners before taking competitive bids for construction in the usual manner in which public business of counties is conducted under the laws of Kansas.
