§ 19-2764 — Meetings of the board of directors; compensation of directors and assessors; payment
Kansas·Ch. 19 COUNTIES AND COUNTY OFFICERS·Art. 27 PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS; IMPROVEMENT AND SERVICE DISTRICTS
(a)Regular meetings of the board of directors shall be held on the first Tuesday of each quarter. Special meetings may be held at any time when all the directors are voluntarily present or may be called by the president or any two directors at any time. Each meeting of the board, whether special or regular, shall be open to the public. Except as provided in subsection (b), each director shall receive as compensation for services as such, the sum of $5 per day while actually and necessarily engaged in the performance of such director's duties under this act. The assessors provided for by this act shall receive for their services each the sum of $5 per day while actually and necessarily engaged in the performance of such assessor's duty.
