Text
(a)From and after January 1, 1976, the Kansas association of counties shall be a participating employer in the Kansas public employees retirement system for all purposes under said system.
(b)Within thirty-five (35) days after the effective date of this act, the Kansas association of counties shall pay to said system an amount equal to the total of:
(1)All employer contributions payable from January 1, 1976, to the date of payment at the applicable rate of contribution fixed pursuant to K.S.A. 74-4920, and any amendments thereto; and (2) all employee contributions payable from January 1, 1976, to the date of payment at the rate of contribution fixed by K.S.A. 74-4919, and any amendments thereto.
