Text
Any such board which has established an historical collection as provided in this act, may appoint and fix the compensation of a supervisor or curator for such historical collection. The board may appoint as supervisor or curator a person who is a county officer or employee, and if such a county officer or employee is appointed the compensation fixed by said board shall be in addition to his compensation as such other county officer or employee and no other statute fixing or limiting the compensation of county officers or employees shall apply to the compensation received as such supervisor or curator. Said supervisor or curator shall have charge of said historical collection, arrange for its display, care and maintenance and shall perform such other duties in connection therewith as said
