§ 12-6,110 — Public improvements, costs; installment payments; delay in payment of assessments; bonds
Whenever the governing body of any city authorizes the construction of any public improvement, the expense of which is chargeable to a benefit district, the governing body may provide for the payment of the cost thereof by installments, instead of levying the entire tax or special assessment for such cost at one time. In addition, the governing body may authorize and provide for a delay in the payment of such assessments subject to the conditions and in the manner provided in this act. The governing body may issue internal improvement bonds of the city to pay the cost of such improvements. The procedure for assessing and collecting the installments, or for redeeming lands from special assessments, for bonds issued for the construction of public improvements shall be the same as for bonds i
