Text
(a)Each person holding office as chief of police of any city in this state shall be fingerprinted as provided by this section and K.S.A. 2024 Supp. 22-4713, and amendments thereto.
(b)Before assuming the office of chief of police of any city in this state, a person shall be fingerprinted as provided by this section and K.S.A. 2024 Supp. 22-4713, and amendments thereto.
(c)Fingerprinting pursuant to this section shall be done by the law enforcement agency of the city in the presence of the city clerk.
