Text

At least sixty (60) days prior to the date provided by law for certifying city or county taxes to the county clerk, the duly authorized board of trustees, board of supervisors or board of directors of any such child care center, having executive charge thereof, shall each year file with the clerk a sworn budget setting forth as nearly as may be the amount required to maintain the said child care center for the ensuing tax year. Said budget shall be subject to the approval of the governing body, and when so approved by them, the said governing body shall thereupon fix the amount of said levy.
